There are places I’ll remember
All my life though some have changed
Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places have their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I’ve loved them all
But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know I’ll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I’ll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more

I am so sorry to hear of your loss.
This is very sad news and your email made me cry.
Holly was such a beautiful girl and is gone way to soon.
It is good for her that she was with you while she was here and had a wonderful life with so much love.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of the family.

I’m so terribly sorry for your loss. It never gets easier. I totally understand about how you feel like your heart is in shreds. That’s an excellent way to put it.
Again, I’m very sorry for your loss. You will never forget her, but the pain does lessen – it will also always be there, just diminished somewhat.

Oh my- Holly looks so lovely in the photo, and it sounds as if her personality and character was so special. I know you and your family (dogs included of course!!) will miss her very much. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.
Hugs,

Carol, what a beautiful girl Holly was. My heart goes out to you and all who where a part of her, on her tragic loss, thankfully swift, yet senseless. She passed on, doing what she loved, and surely never knew what happened. If we could all be so lucky.
I grieve with you and for you, but know that Holly’s spirit is running free. May her memory soon bring a smile to your face again, in fond remembrance.
My sympathies.

My very deepest sympathy on your tragic loss – she was way too young. But maybe take a tiny morsel of comfort in the fact that she was having the most fun when she was injured, and never recovered to suffer any pain.
Your memories will bring you comfort, as will all your other fur kids.

Oh Carol – She was indeed a fleet-footed soul! A beautiful creature filled to the brim with sparkling presence. And she came bearing the gift of hope!!
I offer condolences for your heart and her missing spirit. Hold tight to her gift of hope. And kiss those sweet whippets of yours, they are treasure.

Carol,
I was at the shows in Kennewick on this past weekend and heard the news of Holly on Sunday at the show. The loss of each one leaves a hole in our hearts–but, I think a sudden and tragic loss of a young dog takes longer to heal than the ease of helping an aged friend go peacefully. The blessing she brought to your life will help you in the weeks to come. Take the time to grieve appropriately and then the joy of her being can come to you in time.
